WOCN MEMBERSHIP
**NEW** WOCN MEMBERSHIP AND SCHOLARSHIP CONTRIBUTION UPDATE

Our philosophy is that WOCN should be accessible to all women of color advocates and activists seeking support, resources and opportunities to network and develop leadership. We also believe that women of color can help grow and develop their own organizations through contributions to expand programming and opportunities for other women seeking assistance.

Therefore, in addition to the General Membership that is free of charge, we are introducing two new ways for our constituency, participants and allies to support the development of WOCN.

1) Paid Membership:  Two new levels of annual membership for interested women of color advocates and activists are the WOCN Patron Membership at $30 per year, and the WOCN Sterling Membership at $50 per year.  The paid membership will expand WOCN‚Äôs ability to conduct more frequent face-to-face meetings, national programming, and technical assistance and outreach.  The WOCN General Membership will continue to be accessible free of charge.

2) Scholarship and Assistance Fund:  This fund provides an opportunity for allies, corporate partners and the community at large to help assist women of color advocates and activists seeking scholarships to attend national events, and to help provide emergency assistance to individual survivors with acute circumstances.
